From the
Pastor's
Study

Our Sunday School Children have designated their offerings to help support the Mark & Cynthia Holder-Rich family (missionaries in Madagascar). The Missionary Support Program is overseen by the ELCA's Division of Global Mission.

Our congregation has assisted this Christian housing ministry since its inception, 2 years ago. Parishioners help with fundraisers, serve on the board of directors, and have served meals at a house construction site. Special Giving is often designated for Habitat for Humanity - Washington County.

The Milwaukee Women's Center provides services designed to help people maintain violence free relationships. Every Christmas season, Redeemer receives a list of families that are especially in need of gifts. Buying an extra gift, for someone in need, has become a joyous part of our Christmas shopping trips.

The Vision for Mission Fund provides an opportunity for individual members of the ELCA to make gifts over and above congregational giving in support of global and domestic mission.

Stork's Nest is a program designed to increase the number of women who get early and regular prenatal care so that more babies get a healthy start in life. Stork's Nest provides incentives to help pregnant women make and keep prenatal care appointments.

Each Mother's Day, Redeemer hosts a "shower"  - to receive donations of baby items for this important program.

This world-wide program provides direct relief for people in need - with special focus on disaster assistance.

ELCA World Hunger helps with:
• long-term, sustainable development in communities
• advocating for justice
• educating members of the ELCA in awareness of issues relating to hunger, poverty and justice

Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan provides alcohol and drug treatment, adoption and foster care, services for children, youth and families, older adult programs and housing, services for people who are developmentally disabled or mentally ill, counseling, refugee services and many other services that help people work through difficult times.

LSS serves people of all ages, Lutheran and non-Lutheran.  They focus on the individual needs of more than 103,000 clients each year.

Motivated by the compassion of Christ and a firm belief in the individual worth of each child of God, LSS helps people improve the quality of their lives.

Crossways is an outdoor ministry of the ELCA - in association with over 200 congregations in Wisconsin.

Each year, the 3 camps serve over 3000 youth and families, host 10,000 retreat guests, provide summer day care for 30+ congregations, and organize adventure trips for high school youth and adults.

Crossways camps are places where one can explore relationships between our God, our environment, and our neighbors.
